Sound familiar?

Festival evenings without the fights

Community tambola is the highlight of the calendar. The disputes, the paper and the one tired volunteer on the mic are not.

  • The headache

Two members claim the same Top Line and the committee has to pick a side.

    With PlayTambola.Live

Wins are checked by the server, not by a volunteer with a list. Everyone who completes a prize on the same number is a co-winner, and the result is on the big screen for all to see.

  • The headache

The hall is packed and the caller’s voice doesn’t reach the last row.

    With PlayTambola.Live

Up to 200 players in one game, all on the same call. The big screen speaks every number aloud, so the back row hears it too.

  • The headache

Some members are more comfortable in Hindi than English.

    With PlayTambola.Live

The app works in English and हिन्दी, so every member can play in the language they prefer.

  • The headache

Ticket printing, a queue at the gate and someone counting change.

    With PlayTambola.Live

Members scan a QR or type the game code and get a server-generated ticket on their phone. Nothing to print, nothing to collect — no one pays to join a game.

How it fits your event

From committee meeting to results screen

Diwali mela, Holi milan, New Year night or the monthly club evening — the flow is the same.

  1. A week before

    Set it up once

One committee member creates a host account and sets up the game: which prizes are in play, how many times each can be won, and a capacity that fits your hall or lawn.

  2. At the venue

    Members scan in

Put the lobby on the community hall TV or projector. Members scan the QR, enter a name and get their ticket — no app, no login.

  3. During the game

    Everyone hears the same call

The server draws numbers at random from 1–90 and the big screen speaks each one aloud, while members tap their tickets.

  4. Afterwards

    Results everyone trusts

The results screen lists every prize winner plus highlights like Closest Miss, and members can share the result link with the society group.

Results on the big screen

Proof everyone can see

When the last number is called, the results screen shows the winner of every prize and the fun highlights — Fastest Full House, Luckiest Ticket, Most Daubs and Closest Miss.

  • Co-winners on the same number win together
  • Only numbers that were called can be marked
  • Players can share a result link

Community FAQ

Questions committees ask

How do we run tambola for our society’s Diwali event?

Create a host account on PlayTambola.Live, set up the game with your prizes and capacity, and put the lobby on a TV or projector at the venue. Members scan the QR code with their phones, enter a name and get a ticket; the server calls the numbers and checks every win.

How many members can play in one game?

Up to 200 players can play in one game, and everyone sees the same call at the same time. The host can also set a lower capacity — 10, 25, 50, 100 or a custom number.

How do you avoid disputes over who won?

The server decides every win, so there is nothing to argue about. Players can only mark numbers that were actually called, wins are recorded the moment a prize is completed, and everyone who completes the same prize on the same number wins together.

Can we play online tambola at a kitty party?

Yes. A game with up to 5 players is free with every feature, and for a bigger group each player uses one seat from the host’s balance. Everyone plays on their own phone — no app, no paper tickets.

Is it gambling? Can we use it at a cultural or religious gathering?

No, PlayTambola.Live is not gambling — it is entertainment only. No one pays to join a game, no money is staked, pooled, won or paid out, and prize names are recognition labels with no monetary value. It is meant for players aged 18 and over.

Can older members play in Hindi?

Yes. The app is available in English and हिन्दी, and players need nothing but a phone browser — no app download, no login, just a name.

What does a 200-member game cost?

A 200-player game uses 200 seats. The Pro bundle — 400 seats for ₹999 plus 18% GST — covers it with 200 seats left over, and seats never expire.
